Oh amiga, I’m so sorry for your loss. It must be hard, and honestly I always say. Teachers are an important persona in our lives and our kids lives. So that must have been pretty hard for all of you. I’m glad you are writing which I agree is a healer. Love your nature experience, it always helps to freshen up and heal any sadness we could have! ❤️

And ditto on not having seen ‘Waiting to Exhale’ until recently. I remember maybe seeing it when I was much younger? (what was I even doing watching it so young!) I’m trying to go through all the classics now if I can find them.

I think I saw little clips when I was young but not the whole movie, probably at a family gathering when all the young cousins where put in a room with a tv ..thinking of trying Love Jones next.

Wow I’m so sorry to hear about your community’s loss. An amazing preschool teacher is such a special person in a family’s life.
